Finish Quantumatic Review and GIVEAWAY!

FINISH QUANTUMATIC is a new detergent dispenser and refill for your dishwasher. It provides the power of Quantum for 12 washes!! No prerinsing is needed for the quantumatic. The FINISH QUANTUMATIC is easy to use. All you have to do is place the refill in the dispenser, close and lock lid; Clip the QUANTUMATIC on the top rack of your dishwasher and turn your dishwasher on like you always do. After 12 washes replace with a refill and start over.

This detergent has powerful enzymes to losen burnt on food, bleach for tough stains, and a rinse agent for the shine. There is a counter on the side to show you when it's time for a refill and how many washes you have left.

Finish Jet-Dry Turbo Dry is another great product that includes a drying agent that drys your dishes so that no spots are left on your dishes from water left on the dishes after the wash. The Jet-dry is used in the rinse agent dispenser of your dishwasher and is released during the rinse cycle.

I was sent these 2 products for review and I must say that I was impressed with the results. With 4 kids at home, I'm all about making dishwashing simple. The FINISH QUANTUMATIC dispenser was very easy to use and worked wonders on my dishes. With the help of Finish Jet-dry turbo dry, these 2 products left my dishes sparkly and clean with no water spots like regular washes normally do.

For the best part, Finish would like to provide one of my readers with the same 2 products that I reviewed!

Crayola Holiday gifts-Review and GIVEAWAY

Crayola has many products out there this Holiday season for children of all ages that will spark their imagination. The first product I would like to discuss is the Color Me A Song. The Color Me A Song is reccommended for ages 24 months and up, which is perfect for my 2 year old! She already loves to try to play with her older sister and brothers toys, and this gave her an opportunity to have a "big" kid toy for her.
Here is some information about the Color Me A Song:
•The Crayola Beginnings Color Me A Song lets little ones draw to the beat of their own drum, trumpet, piano or guitar. This portable drawing and music creation station features a pressure-sensitive board that matches a melody to the artist´s pace. Draw fast, and the tempo picks up. Slow down, and so does the music. Four instrument buttons let kids pick their favorite sound. Color Me a Song was named a "Toy of the Year" by FamilyFun magazine and one of American Baby magazine´s picks for "Best Toys of the Year."
Sounds awesome right?! Well, it is! I've found myself tinkering with it.

Next up, is the Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome. I had never heard of this particular Crayola product, so I was anxious to see what it was all about! The Glow Dome is reccomended for ages 6 and up, which is perfect for my 6 year old. Yay!! This is, by far, one of the neatest products I've ever seen! Kids can create their own artwork, put it in the color explosion glow dome and watch it as it spins around and glows! It has a two-layered dome of light and kids can control the motion. They can make it slow, medium, or warp speed to make their artwork into wild animations.
This is sure to be a much loved Christmas present for your child or someone you know.

Last, but not least, is the Crayola Glow Station. Now this one, I had heard of, but have not had one of my kids before now. The Glow station is a large canvas that glows in the dark. The glow station comes with a light wand in which the children can draw free hand or with provided stencils and textured sheets to create more realistic drawings. You can even attach a diamond shaped tip to the wand to create starbursts on the canvas. The images disappear after awhile or they can be erased which provide hours upon hours of fun, creative play for children.
This product is also reccomended for children ages 6 and up.

All three of these products were a huge hit in my house and I would reccomend any of them to anyone who has kids within the age ranges.

Crayola is also having a Give the gift of creativity sweepstakes, where you can enter to win a 7-night Caribbean cruise for a family of 4 on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas. All you have to do to enter is visit http://www.crayola.com/gifts/vacation and create a Crayola wish list for you child or children. You can choose from fun products like Star Skateboarding, Martian Sleepovers, and Boogie Woogie. Crayola will then recommend an item from their Holiday Gift Guide that corresponds to the wish. You can enter once a day, and an extra entry is also available for those who share the wish list on Facebook.

Now, for the best part! One of my readers will win their very own Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome! A $29.99 suggested value! Here are the rules to enter the giveaway:

Mandatory entry: Tell me one product you would put on your child's wish list from the Give the gift of creativity sweepstakes list.(found at the link above)

Thank you Crayola and MyBlogSpark for this wonderful review and giveaway opportunity!

Cheerio's Spoonfuls of Stories(review and GIVEAWAY)

Cheerios has made a significant commitment to Children's Literacy with with Spoonfuls of Stories Program. Over the past eight years, Cheerios has given away more than 40 million children´s books by distributing them free inside cereal boxes and has donated $3.2 million to First Book, their non-profit partner, which provides books to children from low-income families.

Beginning this month, Cheerios is providing 6 million Children's books free in boxes of Cheerios! This year there are 5 new books and each one is in both English and Spanish. The books are geared towards children ages 3-8 years old.
Here is my take on these 5 books along with some information provided by MyBlogSpark:

Junkyard Fort was written by Jon Scieszka, and illustrated by David Shannon, Loren Long and Dave Gordon. This book is about the Trucktown characters, like Gabriella, Jack, Melvin, Ted, Lucy and more who all work together to build a fort. They venture out in the junkyard to find parts to build their fort. The pictures are too cute and the book reminds me somewhat of the Cars movie. Their are Monster trucks, ice cream trucks, dump trucks, and many more! In the back of the book, there are even activities for the kiddos to do. (ages 4-8)

Tea For Ruby was written by The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser. Tea for Ruby is the perfect little book for little girls who love tea parties! Ruby gets invited to Tea with the queen, but Ruby tends to have problems with diasters happening all around here. So Ruby has to shape up her manners and quick. (ages 4-8)

Sleepyhead was written by Karma Wilson and illustrated by John Segal. This book is perfect bedtime story for little ones who like to put sleeping off anyway they can. In this book, Sleepyhead Teddy does just that. A cat is the parent and this is a very well illustrated book. (ages 3-7)

Ballyhoo Bay was written by Judy Sierra and illustrated by Derek Anderson. This book is about Mira Bella, the artist, who teaches classes at the beach everyday. Ballyhoo Bay is fun for all, until one gray day a billboard arrives, announcing an impending development that would take all the fun out of the place. Does Mira Bella and her friends save the day? Check it out and find out!

What's Under the Bed? was written and illustrated by Joe Fenton. This book is about Fred who is worried about what creature might be lurking under his bed. He eventually peeks to see what it is and it ends up only being his teddy bear Ted. This is a very cute book and is great for my 4 year old! (ages 3-7)

To help spread this promotion: Cheerios and MyBlogSpark sent me a great Spoonfuls of Stories gift pack. The gift pack included a set each of the five Spoonfuls of Stories books, a box of Cheerios, and a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble. It is a very BIG box of Cheerios too!

What's even better is they also offered on of my readers the same gift pack that I received.

To Enter:

Required entry: Answer this question: What is your favorite children´s book? (My favorite is Cinderella)

See Kai Run review and GIVEAWAY!

See Kai Run are by far my favorite kids shoes ever. They are made with ultra flexible soles, sheepskin leather uppers and wide toe boxes. These shoes are the softest and most flexible shoes my kids have ever owned! I had to choose one pair for my daughter and it was a very hard choice, but I choose Jaewon. They are a little big for Kadence right now, but she will be able to wear them soon. Aren't they just adorable?!

See Kai Run has a smaller line for ages 0-24 months and the See Kai Run line for sizes 3-9. Here are some of my favorites:
The first three are from the smaller line. I wish my little one could still wear these sizes!

This pair are from the See Kai run line. And again, I wish my boys were small enough to still wear these!

See Kai Run shoes were created by Cause because when her son Kai was born she wanted to find comfortable shoes with flexible soles for her son to play in. In November 2004, the first See Kai Run shoes hit the stores and have been booming every since. Twice a year she designs 15-20 new designs.

See Kai Run also gives back. They partner with Soles4Souls in which they help supply thousands of shoes to children in need.

Now for the fantastic part! See Kai Run has generously offered to give one of my readers their choice of shoes from the See Kai Run or smaller line!

Mystic Wonders Review and Giveaway!!

Awhile back, I won a giveaway for the Complete Laundry System from Mystic Wonders Inc. I have been using the system for a couple of months now and I love it! I have not had to buy laundry detergent or dryer sheets since and it has saved me loads of money! I have 4 kids and there are 6 of us in the house, so laundry is done A LOT!

This system includes the wonder ball and two dryer balls.

From their site:
The Wonder Ball works through physics. The frequency enhanced mineral blend within the ball creates an energy field when agitated in the machine. When this energy meets with the water, the water is in its best cleaning state. It is the water that does the cleaning. No detergent needed. Do not put Wonder Ball in dryer
The Wonder ball lasts about 3 years/2000 washes!! That's a long time! Just imagine how much detergent you buy over 3 years time! All you have to do is drop the Wonder ball into you washing machine and put your clothes in and start it up! It takes less time then having to measure out your detergent!

I know this sounds unreal and I didn't believe it myself when I first read about it, but I knew it would be worth the try! And I can tell you first hand that it does work and it works great! My clothes smell so clean!

The complete laundry system also comes with two dryer balls.
From their site:
Simply place the two balls in dryer with wet clothes, turn on dryer. Working together in balance, the balls keep your clothes separated. The nubs keep redistributing the heat; cutting drying time.

Engineered for a lifetime. No fabric softeners or sheets needed.

The dryer balls really do cut down on your drying time and your clothes are less wrinkled! The dryer balls even last a lifetime!

Mystic Wonders, Inc. also have many other products. They have microfiber cloths, which I really want to try. They have a yellow one that is great for delicate surfaces. It is good for dusting and polishing. They have a gray cloth that is great for aggressive cleaning, and the blue cloth is best for absorbency, dusting, and drying!

Now, for the best part! Mystic Wonders is giving away one of the Complete laundry systems like I have to one of my readers!

Mandatory Entry: Go to Mystic Wonders, Inc. and tell me one thing you like about the Complete Wonder System or another product that you would like to try. Be sure to leave your email address in your comment.

Extra Entry: Follow me thru blogger for 1 extra entry.(leave a comment for each entry)

This giveaway will end August 21st at midnight. Winner will be chosen by Random.org. I will email the winner and they will have 48 hours to reply or another winner will be chosen.
Thanks for entering and Good Luck!

Grilling Tips from Mike Davis (Giveaway!)

Father's Day is a time to spend with family. Dad's like to fire up the grill, but grilling can lead to heartburn which can lead to a not-so-happy cookout! Mike Davis, the National Champion Pit Master of Lotta Bull BBQ in Oklahoma shared some secrets for my readers on how to grill in how demand this Father's Day!

Here's Mike Davis' tips:

*When cooking larger cuts of meat, always use an indirect heat as a source. Using the direct heat method will char the outside of the meat without allowing the inside to cook properly.
*When grilling, use a "smoker" box of aromatic hardwoods such as mesquite, hickory or pecan to give that distinctive wood smoked flavor.
Use olive oil or any other cooking oil to coat the surface of vegetables to add crispness and to hold on spices and seasonings.
*Using a spray or baste during cooking will help keep the meat moist and flavorful and will help to keep the meat from drying out during the cooking process.
*A mustard slather can be used to thoroughly coat the meat to help hold spices and seasonings in place during preparation.
*Pay careful attention to pork and poultry when grilling, you must make sure both meats are properly cooked through.
*Always grill in a well ventilated area, away from eaves and overhangs that can trap toxic fumes.
*Just like I prepare for my competitions, frequent heartburn sufferers should come prepared to enjoy the foods you love and start your 14-day course of Prilosec OTC in advance of your BBQ event.

I was sent some awesome Nascar swag, including cd's featuring some of the best moments in Nascar, driver cards, and hats!

One of my readers will win some of the same items like I received. To enter this giveaway, Leave a comment with your plans for Father's Day! I will choose a winner randomly on June 27 and email the winner. Extra entry for following my blog! Good Luck!

Sensible Entertaining with Weightwatchers and a giveaway!

Lifestyle expert Susie Coelho recently used some of her favorite Weight Watchers foods to prepare easy, delicious dishes for entertaining and produced a video with tips on sensible foods that don't derail guests' diet. You can watch the video by clicking here!

WeightWatchers offers many cheeses, yogurts, snack cakes, frozen novelties, and breads! I have had the pleasure of trying quite a few of their fabulous products.

I've tried the brownies and the chocolate cakes and they are both delicious!

The brownies are 2 points and are made with real chocolate! The Chocolate cake, which is one of my absolute favorite snack cake, is only 1 point each. These cakes are topped with creamy chocolate and have a great flavor of cocoa. Both of these are very satisfying snacks and will definetly take care of any sweet tooth you are having.

Next up are the Vanilla Round Ice Cream Sandwiches!

Now these are my favorite WeightWatcher product ever! They are only 140 calories and 2 points each and are much better than any Ice cream sandwich I've ever tried! They are a good size and very satisfying too!

The next frozen novelty I tried is the English Toffee cruch bars.

These are also 2 points and there are 12 in a box. They are made with toffee ice cream and chocolate flavored coating with toffee chips. I love these as well! I really like that there are 12 in a box.

I have also tried the Giant Fudge bars which are only 1 point and they are big! I am yet to try any of these products that I don't like. I recommend trying them all to see what you like best!

WeightWatchers also offers a snack widget which will help you with sensible food alternatives to help aid you in staying healthy! You can find this widget here.

They even have a facebook group too!
