Not Me Monday (a day early)

It's that time again!! Not me Monday with the wonderful host McKMama herself!! Check her post out, along with many more Not Me Monday fun posts!!

Here are mine:

1. I absolutely did not feed my kids cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner yesterday!! That would be so lazy of me even if it is what they wanted!!

2. I did not read a ton of other people's blogs in search for ideas for me to post, since I can't really think of anything to talk about these days!

3. My daughter did not put 2 rolls of toilet paper in the toilet and try to flush! If something like that were to happen, I wouldn't have caught it right before the flood came!!

4. I did not start a diet one day and quit it the next day! That wouldn't be very determined now would it!!

and lastly

5. I'm definetly not having my class reunion next weekend, because that would mean I've been out of school for 10 years and I'm so not getting that old yet!!! Not me, it's only been a couple of years I think!

oops forgot one

6. I surely didn't catch my 3 yr old cutting my 1 yr old's little twig of a pigtail with scissors I had never seen before and had no idea where they came from! By the way...her daddy told me later that he found some scissors in the bathroom!

I don't feed my kids cereal 2 times a day on Sunday either...Raisin Bran is healthy right?

Ashley October 12, 2008 at 8:47 PM

We always do cereal 2x on Sundays and I have caught middle child cutting his own hair with twice!

Umm, as I said on another post, I would never spend my week thinking of things that would make good Not Me subjects. that would be nerdy. others might, but NOt Me! Also, it could be worse than cereal! You could have done cookies!

I'm so glad to hear that you stopped the flood of potty water! That one accomplishment gives you every right in the world to feed your kids cereal three times a day! Oh, and enjoy your reunion! I'm sure you'll have a blast!

S.L.P October 12, 2008 at 9:33 PM

I'm starting to get worried about leaving out the sissors! My 9 month old did "not" just discover how fun it is to unroll toliet paper too...

Lindsay October 12, 2008 at 9:36 PM

Oh my! I have a 10 year reunion in a few weeks too! It definitely is a strange feeling. Great NMM's.

Kelsey October 12, 2008 at 9:36 PM

I did not just come over to check your blog, see that you posted your Not me monday and then "rush" over to MckMama's to add my name to the Mr. Linky... noo that would be way to um obsessive?

So I think tomorrow at work I'm going to hide the scissors, it must be the week were all the kids cut their own hair!

I don't search other peoples blogs either for something to write about.

4under3 October 12, 2008 at 10:43 PM

Ohhhhh, the 10 year class reunion!! Not me either. Wait, that's because it's been 11 years. Drats!

It looks like we have some things in common...I have 4 little ones underfoot also. Your children are beautiful. Stop on over in between snacks and naps. We're kicking off the week with a contest.

I have searched other blogs too.. Guilty..lol.

I didn't go to my 10 year class reunion. It was a Weekend drunk fest..ugh.

Girlfriend... my 25th reunion is next year and I'm freaking out! No way I've been out of school for that long.. I just still feel 18 years old sometimes. Loved your posts...

Amy October 13, 2008 at 8:14 AM

Great list! Thanks.

12 essential vitamins makes cereal a GOOD option for multiple meals in my book!! :-)

oh my, i have never started a diet one day only to quite the very next!

Tonya October 13, 2008 at 10:50 AM

How funny! Oh, I'm SO LOVING this "NMM" meme. =-)

Oh, don't feel too bad about feeding your kids cereal for breakfast... our kids KNOW they're on their own on Sunday mornings. (One child will be 11 tomorrow and the other will be 8 soon) I mean, who has time to get up and COOK that time of day with so many other things going on??? O=-)

Lori October 13, 2008 at 11:03 AM

cereal is a great food... it's not like you said I gave them ice cream for BLD

four little blessings October 13, 2008 at 12:16 PM

I agree... cereal makes life good. I most surely did NOT buy 10 boxes of cereal on sale today, just in the vent that my 4 needed a cereal day breakfast lunch and dinner! :)

Jo-Jo October 13, 2008 at 1:02 PM

Yours is the second scissors and hair story I have read today! I am going through my home making sure there aren't any surprise scissors around for my boys to find!

Katie@ThisCrazyLife October 13, 2008 at 2:53 PM

I too have lost entire brand new rolls of toilet paper to the toilet monster! I also lost a cell phone once too. I hate the toilet paper though, it just feels so wastefull!

Hall Family in MD October 13, 2008 at 5:55 PM

My 6 year old didn'y overflow the toilet this week, too!

Us October 13, 2008 at 6:32 PM

Whew...so I'm not the only one that feeds the kids cereal! I so did not make my daughter fix her own dinner (waffles) because we were having leftovers and she didn't want them. : )

About Nancy October 13, 2008 at 6:35 PM

Fun post. I've never seen "Not Me Monday" at all let alone on Sunday! Ha.

It was good to visit your blog. See you again soon.

Oh I'm thinking cereal sounds good for tonight..

Lipstick Jungle October 13, 2008 at 7:55 PM

Ok so seriously, #1 happens here ALL.THE.TIME! Of course we change it up a little and change flavors, but hello - you know they will eat it, and it has one major food group (while it may be doused in sugar, at least it is still milk!).

#3 cracks me seriously!!!!!!

#4 I never started... Im talking about it seriously now... I hope I dont quit...

Reading about 4 little kids makes me tired! My 11 and 6 y/o's tire me out... and they arent in diapers!

(and this is embarrassing to admit... but I am now on round two of your super secret message - I am so retarded when it comes to secret codes!)

Jenn October 13, 2008 at 11:52 PM

I think cereal makes a great breakfast. And lunch. And supper. :) I'm not currently responsible for any tiny people (AKA kids), but... if I were, I'd be like you and definately NOT allow my children to eat cereal three times a day.

jenn October 14, 2008 at 3:57 PM

Haha. I have a potty training two year old and we've had only one flood so far... And my 10 year reunion is next year. Oh, and I restart my diet like every other day.

Amie October 14, 2008 at 11:31 PM

okay.. I tagged you. you have to come to my blog to see what it is about.. I see you already did something similar. Might I suggest taking my approach and regurgitating some of them.. I think you get a pass.
